Christmas is in a few days now and if you need to buy last minute gifts, don’t look anywhere else but at the pharmacy for good, affordable and useful products that your family or friends would appreciate. GIFT IDEAS FOR ELLE:

1/ Collosol - Milk Water, Eau de Lait

This gentle makeup remover belongs to the cult products of the French pharmacy. It has been around since the 1950’s and is certainly a staple in the bathrooms of French women. I love using it in the winter months to give my skin extra love. This lotion doesn’t dry out your skin when you remove makeup or clean your face unlike micellar lotions. I use my Bioderma Micellar Lotion for when it’s not cold outside.

2/ Embryolisse - Pink Glow, Radiant Complexion Cream

You might have heard of their Lait-Creme Concentre, the most well known multi-function moisturizer in the French pharmacy products. It does a great job keeping your skin moisturized without feeling and looking greasy. Well, Embryolisse launched a new cream last year: Pink Glow (“Soin Blush de Peau” in French), that might become as famous as the Lait-Concentre. It’s an anti-fatigue moisturizer that erases signs of fatigue and gives you a healthy glow.

3/ Nuxe - Hand and Nail Cream, Rêve de Miel

A good hand cream is always a great idea as a stocking stuffer gift. This one has a nice subtle honey scent and keeps your hands moisturized and soft with no oily effect.

4/ Nuxe - Merveillance Lift, Firming Powdery Cream

If you’re looking for an anti-aging cream, this one does a good job keeping your skin smooth and firm. A nice bonus is the cute red color of the jar that makes it even more on theme for a perfect Christmas gift! Just note that this cream has a floral scent. I mention this because some people preferred fragrance-free creams.

5/ Darphin - Stimulskin Plus Multi-Corrective Divine Eye Cream

Now, moving on to the eye care products, Darphin Stimulskin Eye Cream is THE best anti-aging eye cream in the pharmacy products, in my opinion. This is a more premium brand compared to other pharmacy products, so the price is on the higher end but it’s totally worth it.

6/ Filorga - Eye Cream Optim-Eyes

For a more ”affordable” eye cream compared to the Darphin one, the Filorga Eye Cream Optim-Eyes is a good option. It reduces signs of fatigue as well as dark circles and wrinkles.

1/ Weleda - Skin Food Light

This is a great face moisturizer made from natural ingredients that doesn’t leave the skin greasy thanks to its light texture. Your man will love it trust me!

2/ Weleda - Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream

The original Skin Food Cream Ultra-Rich is the perfect cream to moisturize very dry areas like the feet and elbows. It’s a must to have in your cabinet in the winter months.

3/ Laroche Posay - Cicaplast Hand Cream

Talking about must-haves, Cicaplast Hand Cream is another one. This cream keeps your hands protected and hydrated in the winter. This is another favorite in our household.

4/ Laroche Posay - Lipikar AP+M Triple Repair Body Lotion

If you’re looking for a fragrance free body lotion, don’t look further. This one is is the best pharmacy body lotion for very dry skin, in my opinion.

5/ L’Occitane - Cade Energizing Fluid

Now, if your man doesn’t mind the smell of an essential oil infused cream, he would like the Energizing Fluid cream by L’Occitane. Not only it’s a light moisturizer but it also has a very nice woodsy scent.

6/ L’Occitane Fragrance - Eau des Baux, Eau de Toilette

L’Ocitane does a good job with the men’s fragrances. They create very nice, warm and manly scents. The Eau des Baux is a great woodsy and spicy fragrance made with cedar wood and frankincense notes.
